The AAMA and ACCS are teaming up to help Alabamians interested in pursuing a technical education certificate or associate degree in preparation for a career related to the automotive manufacturing industry.

Scholarships Awarded
Available scholarships will be awarded for the amount of $4,000. Applicants may use their scholarship at any of the twenty-three ACCS schools. Applications are due by March 28, 2024, and it’s just seven steps to apply!3

A full submission for the scholarship requires: a completed online application; completion of a new online orientation course to the automotive industry and AAMA scholarship; one signed reference letter; an unofficial college or high school transcript; a resume; an essay and a headshot photo.

The scholarships are the result of a partnership between the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) and the Alabama Community College System (ACCS).
Interested students with at least a 2.5 GPA can learn more information and apply directly through the website, dreamitdoitalabama.com/aama/. The deadline to apply is March 28, 2024.
A full submission for the scholarship requires the following: an online completed application; completion of a new online orientation course to the automotive industry and AAMA scholarship (requires 1.5 - 2 hours to complete); one signed reference letter; an unofficial college or high school transcript; an essay; a resumé; and a headshot photo.
The deadline to apply is March 28, 2024.

AAMA Manufacturing Scholarship Funding is available to award a total of $4,000 scholarships (up to $2,000 for 2 semesters) to students who are enrolled in a designated program at an Alabama community college that is associated with automotive manufacturing careers. The funding is available for tuition, fees, and/or books.
Some employers may include Hyundai Motor Company, Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A., and more. Employers are not guaranteed and are subject to changes based on need.
