Thankfully, for the better. Right now, the focus has returned to the Black community in important and historic ways. Auspiciously, Juneteenth has just been declared a [federal holiday](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/biden-signs-law-bill-establishing-juneteenth-federal-holiday-n1271213), right on the heels of two difficult anniversaries: the one-year anniversary of George Floyd’s murder and the one-hundredth anniversary of the [Tulsa Massacre.](https://fortune.com/longform/tulsa-massacre-1921-black-wall-street-100-years-entrepreneurship/) In conjunction with these historic markers, organizations have focused their corporate social responsibility efforts on [addressing systemic racism](https://www.forbes.com/sites/hollycorbett/2021/04/27/how-companies-are-helping-to-close-the-racial-wealth-gap/?sh=52b86f7d2bbb).
